Capital Bank of Jordan is the First Company to Deploy MenaSMS

Capital Bank Invests in MenaITech’s Human Resources Information System

The Capital Bank of Jordan is the first company in the Arab region to deploy MenaSMS® from Middle East and North Africa Internet Technologies (MenaITech), which it purchased last month in order to provide its organization with an efficient and accessible HR notification system.

Capital Bank acquired MenaITech’s cell phone notification service, MenaSMS®. and sent its employees their first mass internal text message last month.

Eng. Talal Yaish, Capital Bank Assistant General Manager, said: “Having successfully deployed four of MenaITech’s products since 2006, we decided to further increase our MenaITech product suite to include MenaSMS®. Such a step is a significant move with regards to Capital Bank’s strategic vision to direct our investments towards satisfied, well-informed and proactive resources”.

Moreover, MenaITech deployed four of its modules in Capital Bank which consist of MenaHR®, MenaPay®, MenaME® and MenaExplorer®, inline with the bank’s strategic vision to direct its investments towards automating the HR field.

MenaITech is also in the phase of deploying its HR Management System in Capital Investments, the investment banking arm of Capital Bank that was established late 2006.

Capital Bank of Jordan is currently one of many leading banks within the regional financial sector that has selected MenaITech’s HR systems. Others include the Cairo Amman Bank, Societe Generale Bank, Audi Bank and the recently added Egyptian Arab Land Bank.
