MenaITech Honors its 2007 Employees of the Year
Middle East and North Africa Internet Technologies (MenaITech) held a company dinner yesterday at one of its client’s premises; Wox Restaurant, to honor the winners of its Employees of the Year 2007 initiative.
Two awards, selected from Golden Mobile, were handed out to Mr. Amer Abu Ghoush from the Professional Services team and to Mr. Wesam Azmy from the Technical team.
MenaITech CEO Dr. Bashar Hawamdeh said: “This decision was not an easy one, because we believe that all MenaITech’s team members really deserve this title for their efforts in 2007 and for the state-of-the-art system that we develop, the large sales that we acquire, and the professional services that we deliver, but nevertheless a decision had to be made.”
The winners were selected based on a voting poll that took place through MenaITech’s MenaME Employee Self Services portal as well as management’s recommendations that were built on factors such as achievements, commitment and loyalty, adherence to internal policies as well as interpersonal communication.
As part of MenaITech’s incentive scheme, the company honors its employees on a monthly basis with its Employee of the Month initiative and a larger-scale Employee of the Year initiative that takes place through a team-voting activity.
