MenaITech silver sponsor of Mena ICT Forum 2013

MenaITech, the regional company specialized in building and deploying human resources applications, has announced its silver sponsorship of the MENA ICT Forum 2013, which will be held tomorrow under the Royal patronage of his Majesty King Abdullah II at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre.

At the sixth edition of the Forum, themed “Arab ICT Spring: Realizing Potential,” the participants will discuss the future vision of the ICT sector in the Arab world.

In his comment, the Chairman of the board of directors at MenaITech, Habib Ghawi, said: “We are delighted to take part in sponsoring this Forum which has achieved great success over the past few years, providing participants with the opportunity to exchange expertise and success stories with ICT companies. We aspire through our participation to accentuate the active role that the ICT sector plays in boosting economy at the local and international levels.”

For his part, MenaITech’s CEO, Dr. Bashar Hawamdeh, said: “Our sponsorship of the MENA ICT Forum, which has contributed since its launch in placing Jordan among the technologically advanced countries, comes in line with our vision to highlight the distinguished technical capabilities of the Jordanian talents.”

“This forum serves as an ideal platform for high level decision makers from local, regional, and international public and private sectors to discuss the aspects of our current industry and explore joint cooperation to develop the sector,” Dr. Hawamdeh added.

In the two-day event, the participants will address vital issues related to regional investment climates, legislative supportive systems, infrastructure, education and human capital development.

It is worth mentioning that the forum has witnessed considerable success in the previous years, starting with “Jordan ICT forum” in the years 2000, 2002, 2004 and 2006, and followed by the MENA ICT umbrella that was developed in 2010.
