MenaITech sponsors Microsoft Imagine Cup 2013

To support and inspire talented youth in technology-related fields

MenaITech, the regional company specialized in building and deploying human resources applications, has announced its gold sponsorship for the second consecutive year of Microsoft Imagine Cup 2013, which will be held under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah at King Hussein Business Park, in May 8th, 2013.

This partnership comes in line with MenaITech’s policy aiming at fueling the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation among youth, while prompting them to keep in pace with the world’s technological advances, through assisting them to utilize their technical skills and creative abilities and giving them a voice in the future they want for Jordan.

The world’s premier student technology competition seeks to support student innovators and owners of social and technological start-ups from all over the world, as well as helping the winners to transform their unique ideas to successful for-profit and non-profit enterprises.

It is worth mentioning that Microsoft Imagine Cup 2013 is a leading, worldwide technology competition for students aged between 16 and 26. It aims at creating a computer equipment and technology-based environment intended for innovation while helping participants to unveil their technical skills, along with establishing and maintaining long-term friendships with their peers from different parts of the world.
