Bank of Khartoum Deploys MenaITech for Human Capital Management Automation

MenaITech Implements its First Project in Sudan

Bank of Khartoum (BOK), Sudan’s largest bank, has finalized deployment of the full human resources management system (HRMS) of Middle East & North Africa Internet Technologies (MenaITech) in order to automate its human capital functions throughout the bank.

MenaITech’s CEO Dr. Bashar Hawamdeh said, “The full system was implemented in the bank in no time. In just over a month, the application was up and running, bearing in mind that the Sudan country profile was developed specifically for the bank since this is MenaITech’s first project in Sudan.”

He added, “As a company operating specifically for the MENA market, BOK is a strategic account that has opened doors for us in the North Africa region for 2009.”

Bank of Khartoum’s IT Head Dr. Khalid Osman said, “The selection of a reliable, Arabized and qualified HRMS vendor was no easy task for us. We went through a heavy selection process by assessing companies based on regional expertise, international standards and localized functions that would meet our country-specific needs.”

MenaITech acquired this project in joint efforts with Focus Solutions, a value-added business solutions provider specific to financial institutions and professional service providers such as law firms, consulting companies, and media and advertising associations.
