MenaITech Discusses 2011 HR Strategies

Honoring Employee & Department of the Year

MenaITech, the regional company specialized in building and deploying software solutions and human resources applications, held its regular annual meeting in January 30th, 2011 to discuss its strategic plan and to honor employee and department of the year 2010.

MenaITech CEO, Dr. Bashar Hawamdeh praised the exceptional accomplishments and efforts of the company and its employees for the past year, helping further elevate MenaITech to an international status.

Dr. Hawamdeh highlighted the opportunities and challenges that will face the sector during the upcoming period, stressing the importance of concentrating on developing the local and regional markets, supplying them with the necessary technical solutions and HR applications to enhance their productivity.

“Human Resources is considered one of the major sectors in the region. If we compare the percentage of youth working in the region to those working in the more developed countries, we find that the Arab youth is on top of the list. That is what research and studies have repeatedly mentioned, confirming that the Arab world possesses enormous labor that, unfortunately, is an untapped potential. Organizations need to invest, develop, and employ these assets in a modern fashion that guarantees their continuity, and further their competitive status,” Dr. Hawamdeh said.

“During the past few months, we have cultivated new techniques using the most recent technological developments to assure MenaITech is on the same track as cloud computing. We have also concluded new partnerships and strategic alliances that aim at developing HR sectors in many surrounding countries,” Dr. Bashar added.

MenaITech honored its employee and department of the year 2010 at Raj’een restaurant, where both Mr. Mohammed Owais, from the technical department, and Mr. Mohammed Hawamdeh, from the professional services department in Kuwait have been honored, whereas the Customer Service department has been honored as the department of the year.

“Selecting the winners was not as easy as expected, as we noted that many of our employees were worthy of this honoring for their efforts and their achievements of the company’s objectives confirming our leadership in the HR sector,” added Dr. Hawamdeh.
