MenaITech sponsors Jordan weightlifting champion in London 2012 Summer Olympics

MenaITech, the regional company specialized in building and deploying human resources applications, announced its sponsorship of the participation of Jordan’s Paralympic champion for Men’s Weightlifting, Faisal Hamash, in the upcoming London 2012 Summer Olympics.

MenaITech’s support of the Jordanian gold medalist demonstrates the company’s sense of social responsibility and its belief in the importance of encouraging gifted athletes and helping them realize their goals, dreams, and maximum potential.

In his comment, MenaITech’s CEO, Dr. Bashar Hawamdeh, said: “We are glad that, through our sponsorship, we are contributing towards national efforts to groom the future of Jordan’s athletic and cultural talents whose capabilities are great enough to make achievements.”

Highlighting the significance of backing endowed athletes to become qualified enough to represent their country internationally, Dr. Hawamdeh noted that the 2012 Summer Olympic Games represent a golden chance for Jordan’s sports champions to carry their country’s flag and compete for it at an Olympic level.

In addition, Dr. Hawamdeh underlined Hamash’s accomplishments during his weightlifting career. In this regard, Hamash won the Jordanian weightlifting championship twice in two different weight classes. He also has a history full of awards including gold, silver, and bronze medals won at several regional and global championships such as Khor Fakkan championship and the international independence tournament.

Prior to his participation in the 2012 Summer Olympics which are currently held in London, UK, Hamash will attend a two-week training camp in Ireland.
