MenaITech and STS signs a strategic partnership to extend their cloud computing offerings

AMMAN—MenaITech, the Jordanian company specialised in the development and provisioning of human capital information systems has announced a strategic partnership with the Specialized Technical Services “STS” in the field of cloud computing marketing.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Bashar Hawamdeh, MenaITech CEO and Ayman Mazaherh, STS Co- founder and CEO. This agreement seeks to enable STS to benefit from MenaITech’s various programmes
and solutions by making them available on the STS cloud computing platform, and enhancing the platform that was launched last year. In addition, it seeks to provide trusted cloud computing services which will contribute to reducing cost in addition to enhancing productivity and flexibility and operation processing in the corporate sector while guaranteeing data security.

MenaITech also provides a number of different programmes and solutions for the business sector through its own cloud computing platform, MenaIP. These solutions are: MenaLite for payroll and employees’ self-service system; MenaTracks, a technical support system which also receives and follow up complaints; and MenaDMS, a system used to archive the institutions’ documents.

This strategic partnership with STS comes in line with MenaITech’s vision that seeks to enhance the availability of programmes and solutions through the various cloud computing platforms that serve Jordan and the Arab region, said Hawamdeh, adding that STS Cloud is one of the most prominent platforms in the business sector used for this purpose

He added that providing cloud-based solutions is one of the new major approaches that dominate the information technology sector, due to the benefits offered to different institutions regardless of their size and type, as they enhance work efficiency and reduce cost.

For his part, Mazahreh stressed that the enhancement of STS Cloud by adding MenaITech solutions will provide different programmes and options for the business sector in Jordan and the Arab region, taking into consideration that these solutions are specialized in human resource management.

He noted that although the platform is new and was launched end of 2015, the availability of MenaITech solutions is an added value to STS’s extant programmes and solutions: STS Cloud offers that include business continuity as a service, data backup as a service and performance monitoring as a service in addition to the leading Microsoft Office 365 software among others.
